10 quirky Uber drivers that gave their passengers an interesting ride

We always get a little knot in our stomachs when the Uber pulls up. What is the driver going to be like? Will it feel safe?

And to be fair, they probably feel the same way about passengers (with the added fear that someone might hurl in their car!).

But these 10 Uber drivers are something special. From unique decor to witty humor, we’d be happy to ride with most of them.

1. He loves his job!

Imagine being so dedicated to Uber that you get the company’s logo buzzed into the back of your head. That’s what this guy did. He is one of the most committed drivers that we have ever seen.

2. Playing games

That’s a nice driver! I definitely wouldn’t trust some stranger to play with my gaming system. But hopefully, they put enough tips in that box on the center console to pay for his upgrade.

3. It’s about the journey, not the destination

Uber drivers are very adept at making small talk with people. It’s basically what they do all day long. One standard go-to topic is what’s going on with the weather.

4. Sweet wheels

Most drivers use a mid-range car or SUV to transport clients. However, in Dubai, a passenger was shocked when a McLaren came to pick him up. The vehicle starts at around $200,000 brand new.

Here is one driver who is definitely feeling the holiday spirit. He has garland, ornaments, and even giant candy canes hanging up. The only thing missing is a Christmas tree.

6. A good rule of thumb

It’s nice to know that all people are welcome. The sign makes it very clear. No matter what label you identify with, this driver will take you where you need to go.

Just don’t barf in his ride.

7. A festive ride

That’s pretty cute, actually. It almost feels like a party limo, but without the limo. Or the party.

8. Woody Wagon

Aren’t cars supposed to be newer models in order to be Ubers?

Maybe they changed the rules – or maybe this guy ordered a trip back in time.

9. They’ve got you covered

There is a passenger satisfaction kit located on the back of this driver’s seat. It has everything a passenger might need from bandaids to candies. There is even an extra phone charger.

A lot of drivers don’t appreciate it if you choose to play music in the vehicle loudly. However, this driver encourages it. He can’t hear it anyway, so it doesn’t bother him at all.
