2) Size comparison of the Titantic vs a modern day cruise ship

What a difference a hundred years makes! The behemoth in the back is five times the size of the Titanic, which was the largest cruise ship in the world when it was first built.

5) Size of a blue whale’s heart (human is there for scale)

They should make playground sculptures of of things like this. They’re big enough to climb inside of, and it could teach kids a lesson or two while they play!

10) Giant leatherback sea turtle

Holy smokes! You could strap a saddle on this gal and ride her like a horse on the beach.

Just so you know, the leatherback is the largest of all turtles, weighing in at a hefty 500 to 2000 pounds.

12) Look at how big these road signs are compared to people.

When you’re driving down the highway, you’re always flying past them so you never really get a good grasp of its size. Even so, but some people still need glasses to see these signs!

I think the only unit in this photo is that deranged woman. She probably clocks in at around a 210,000 caloric unit. That’s a pretty hearty meal even for someone of this big fella’s size!

Wind turbines are a sight to behold if you’re ever lucky enough to see one in person. They’re much bigger than they look, and can make you feel like a tiny little ant once you realize just how massive they really are.
