You’ve got to love a dad who will go the extra mile for his little girl – even if it means looking goofy in the process.

Dad-comedian Mike Hanley did just that at his daughter Jessica’s bat mitzvah when he agreed to share the dancefloor with her for an epic father-daughter dance.

Hanley is definitely hesitant to show off his dancing skills at first.

But he relents and takes his daughter’s hand as the song “My Girl” fills the airwaves. The guests are obviously charmed by the moment as the two slow dance together to the sweet song.

But they have a few tricks up their sleeve!

In the blink of an eye, the music changes to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody!” and Jessica sings along while her dad just stands around slowly shaking his head.

But this is just the hilarious start of one most enjoyable father-daughter dances ever!

The duo’s prepared a revolving soundtrack ahead of time and they begin to rock out to “Mambo No.5” before Soulja Boy’s “Crank That” blares from the speakers.

Dad has some moves!

Then, they go retro with a Jackson 5 classic before “Greased Lightning” makes an appearance.

Hanley, who’s earned his stripes as a professional comedian, dazzles the crowd with his hilarious antics, especially with his inability to keep up with the music. It’s safe to say the crowd loves it.

It’s clear that he doesn’t mind being laughed at – so what better place for him than the dance floor in front of a bunch of teenagers?

Think the dance is over? Think again!

The two start to creep like zombies amid Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” before doing some hand flips to the “Macarena.”

From performing “Kung Fu Fighting” to jamming out with Myley Cyrus on “Party In the USA,” there’s no shortage of entertainment with these two showstoppers.

They cover seemingly everything in a single dance!

You can hear cheers, laughter, and a little screaming from the crowd throughout the entire video. I mean who wouldn’t get excited over this performance? They pretty much incorporated every popular song accompanied by its respected dance moves and some of their own choices with added flavor.

This memory will last Jessica’s lifetime. She has an awesome dad!

For all the work that was put in, Mike definitely deserves to be mentioned for Father of the Year!

His passion, ridiculousness, and love inspire us all to treat our children with the absolute care and respect they deserve!

Soon enough, the dance comes to an end amid the apt “My Girl” as the duo took a bow at the end and then hugging. They really pulled off a stellar performance.

Not many videos can simultaneously tug at your heartstrings and leave you in stitches!
