Children are incredible in so many ways. Their innocence, their curiousity, their unconditional love – it’s all just amazing to witness. And in one video that has gone viral – it shows just how loving and compassionate kids really are.

A 7-year-old girl named Anu from Shirley in Birmingham, U.K., has grown up without her right leg. The little girl had to have it amputated not long after she was born.

Since she has only known a life with one leg, Anu doesn’t know any different. However, despite the fact that she’s had a prosthetic her whole entire life, it wasn’t a comfortable one and it wasn’t one that was meant for an active and growing kid.

Thankfully for Anu, she was recently fitted for a custom prosthetic – a bright pink sports blade that was going to fit her perfectly. And the best part? The new leg would allow her to run, dance, jump and play with her friends without issue.

In the special moment caught on video by BBC, Anu walks into school for the first time since she’s received her new pink sports blade.

Anu walks confidently onto the school’s playground and it isn’t long before her friends rush over to see her and her new cool leg. All of them are curious and have questions for the 7-year-old.

“Is that your new pink leg?” you can hear one of the students ask Anu.

“Wow!” exclaims another child.

A little blonde girl with pigtails doesn’t hesitate to run up to her friend and throw both arms around her – giving her friend a supportive squeeze.

Then – just like that? All of the students seem to quickly get over all the “oohing and ahhing” and simply go back to being kids! All of them take off running back toward the playground structures.

As for how Anu likes her new pink blade? She’s a pretty big fan. Although, sounds like she would have settled for another color.

“My favorite color is pink – but violet is my favorite color too,” Anu says. “It makes me run faster and it makes me do my street dancing faster.”

And don’t worry about comfort!

“It has the sock to make it comfortable,” the little girl explained to BBC in the video below.

Anu was able to acquire her new pink blade thanks to a £1.5million cash injection given to the NHS (National Health Service).

Approximately £500,000 of that funding was given to help over 500 children receive a new sports prosthetic, reported The Telegraph. And luckily for Anu – she was one of them! Normally, the prosthetics would cost around £2,000 and £5,000 ($2,500 – $6,400 USD).

Of course, to no one’s surprise, the adorable and innocently precious video went viral as soon as it was uploaded. Since it made its appearance online, Anu’s heartwarming playground moment was viewed millions of times by people around the globe. Everyone just loves how non-judgmental and loving the children are – to them, they’re just happy to see Anu back on the playground!

The video was shared thousands of times on Twitter and even caught the attention of a few celebrities like Russel Crowe and paralympic swimmer Charlotte Henshaw.
