Melissa’s a mother-of-four from Buffalo, Minnesota who was starting a new career path. While she was thrilled about it all, she wasn’t too happy with her outside appearance and was ready for a “dramatic change.” As Melissa explained, she thought others would receive her better “without the menopausal look!”
Fortunately, The Makeover Guy’s Minneapolis salon is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from where Melissa lives. Well, maybe more of a short drive – but some women travel across the country (or further) just for one of Christopher Hopkins’ famous transformations! He’s known for helping clients gain confidence through his impressive talents in the beauty department.
Life was about to be very different (and exciting) for 52-year-old Melissa. She had decided to start a YouTube channel that would focus on her food forest.
But in order to be well-received by others, the mom felt that a new look was completely necessary. Sadly, she felt “invisible” and shared that the feeling came when her daughter was three-years-old. She admitted that for the last few years she’d just been pulling her hair back.
“I just haven’t given any time or attention to myself, and I really loved my life back when I did. I think I’m just really ready for a shift.”
Melissa used to be in the marketing field and she’d spend an hour putting herself together in the morning.
Although not everyone enjoys the process of getting all glammed up – Melissa loved the results. During her interview, she recalled:
“I remember being so well put together that I would walk down the hallway and even little boys would be getting out of my way … and that’s probably when my life was the most exciting and the most energizing. It was really nice to be received well and I’m at this stage of life not even seen.”
Christopher and his team whisked Melissa away for a makeover that would help her feel like her beautiful, confident self again.
When her new appearance is revealed it’s hard to keep your mouth from dropping! Melissa looks simply gorgeous with a shorter, wavy hairstyle and makeup that highlights her stunning facial features. She appears more youthful and seems to have a glow.
There’s actually a Hollywood movie star’s name that many people mention in the comments. One person wrote:
“She looks like Sally Field! Cute as a button! A sweet transformation!”
Another commenter posted:
“Holy heaven!!! No wonder she was well received! She is GORGEOUS! She is not only going to get glances, people will be picking up their eyes when she walks by.”
Melissa was tired of feeling invisible, but that was the last thing in the world she was after a day at MAKEOVERGUY Appearance Studios.
After having so long of feeling good about herself, it was devastating to Melissa when her life shifted. She felt like people would walk right by her in the hallways without giving a simple greeting like “Good Morning.” But all that was about to change with her fabulous upgraded style!
Melissa seems to love her new look and passes on a sweet (and truthful) compliment to the renowned-stylist. She says:
“Christopher, what you guys do… You soothe many souls.”
