Michael J. Fox Shuts Down Internet Troll Hilariously
This is comedic gold.

Considering the fact that he was diagnosed in 1991 with Parkinson’s at the age of 29, Michael J. Fox is doing pretty well. The retired actor, activist, and film producer announced his condition in 1998 and in the year 2000, semi-retired from acting as his condition worsened.

MJF has since become an advocate for research towards finding a cure. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research but still lends his talents here and there for entertainment purposes.

He’s still got his sense of humor.

Michael recalls a time he responded to a Twitter troll with the help of his son, Sam. During an online interview with Graham Norton, Fox narrates how his son had his back when he had to have a snappy comeback.

Graham praises Fox for his book and how Michael spoke highly of his children then proceeded to ask him about how Sam helped his dad with an online troll.

The 59-year-old said,

“Somebody said something nasty about Parkinson’s and I usually let that stuff just go by me. It doesn’t happen that often (and) when it does I don’t really care about it, but I wanted to answer this guy in some way.”

Michael continued,

“So my son said ‘Just do this. Do SMH’ and I went ‘What do you mean SMH?’ He said ‘Just trust me do SMH.”

That’s his son’s advice and Michael took it.

The age of keyboard warriors.

Well these internet tough guys got nothing on the Back To The Future star!

Now it’s a given that at his age, Fox wouldn’t really understand modern internet lingo. So when he received the response from his online basher, Michael was confused. He turned to his son for an explanation.

He explains to Graham Norton,

“He answers me back ‘That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever read in my life. You’re the king of the internet. I apologize for anything I said to you,’ blah blah blah.”

The best part comes when his son, Sam, tells his dad what SMH really meant.

“I said to my son ‘(What) did you say?’ and he said, ‘Shaking my head.”

Talk about a comeback! Great Scott!

Fox admits that he’s not internet savvy and that’s understandable. His daughter takes care of his Instagram posts while his son is his troubleshooter for anything social media related.

The internet can be a brutal place.

Which means that his son is a genius for coming up with that response, considering how Parkinson’s affects the body.

But why would anyone disrespect Michael J. Fox?

Michael and his wife, Tracy Pollan, have four children together. Sam Michael, twin daughters Aquinnah Kathleen and Schulyer Frances, and another daughter, Esmé Annabelle. And by the looks of it, they are a lovely family!

Even Graham and friends had to applaud that Twitter comeback.

Talk about putting someone in his place!

And no DeLorean time machine needed! The best part is that they responded to the online troll faster than 88 miles per hour.
