If you think it is only humans who know how to hug it out, think again. Dogs love to work through their problems and hug it out with each other just as much as we do!
Just last month, Instagram user @wat.ki, AKA Watson & Kiko, uploaded this most adorable video that won hearts all over the world. It is easy to see why this clip earned over half a million views.
In the video, we see a dog named Watson who behaved poorly when he stole a treat from his dog brother (the two have a shared Instagram account together). His owner wasn’t letting it slide.
“Can you understand when I’m talking to you? Okay, so I gave you a chewy, I gave Kiko a chewy… And you ate Kiko’s chewy. So what do we say when we steal someone else’s chewy?” Watson’s owner says.
After that, Watson looks up at his owner with big puppy dog eyes and then, after thinking for a moment, slowly walks over to his brother, Kiko.
What happens next is almost hard to believe.
When Watson gets to his brother, he actually stands up on two legs and hugs him with his two front legs. Yes, he is literally hugging him in the most human-like way possible.
It’s incredible to see how Watson understands what’s going on so clearly. It’s equally amazing to see him apologize in such a human way! It seems like dogs really are more like us than we think.
Watson and Kiko actually have tons of fans around the world too. Their joint Instagram page is just about to reach a million followers. There, you can find nonstop adorable footage of the two truly living their best lives together.
In their cute photos and videos, we see them cuddling, napping, celebrating their birthdays, hugging (again!), traveling the world, and doing other little silly things. It is clear that the two do pretty much everything together and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We even see them hugging in another recently uploaded clip (below). It seems like these pups hug more often than we think.
There is no doubt that these two Golden Retrievers bring people so much joy on a daily basis. Just seeing these adorable photos and videos pop up on your feed is enough to brighten your day!
“I cannot get enough of these two puppers. I don’t know how you manage to get anything done,” one fan commented on the video.
“That’s why I love animals more than… So much love, understanding and emotions in this gesture,” another person said.
“Watson is more human than most humans,” one person even said.
These viewers ain’t wrong! Watching these two pups go through life together really feels like we are watching two human brothers grow up side-by-side. They are living life to the fullest and they are really out there doing the most they can. It’s clear that they have great owners too.
