The idea of taking up makeup lessons all started when Mona decided to get her face done for a birthday party. The couple met with a makeup artist named Rosie O’Driscoll. During the makeup appointment, Des told the makeup artist about her wife’s worsening eyesight. Then suddenly, the curious husband took the brushes and tried doing his wife’s makeup himself.

To her surprise, O’Driscoll said that with the way he held the brushes, he was indeed a “natural.” From that moment, Des’ decided to take makeup lessons from O’Driscoll.

The dedicated husband’s desire to learn to do makeup reached Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist. He was deeply moved by Des’ kind gesture that’s why he told his manager, “I want those two at my masterclass in London.”

The couple accepted the generous invitation and finally met Mario.
