Being overseas can be quite a stressful job.

Although this doesn’t stop them from being able to have fun. After seeing the video of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders dance to the hit song “Call Me Maybe” By Carly Rae Jepson, they were inspired to create a tribute of their own.

Of course using this worldwide hit would bring this video a lot of attention. Even with the lack of resources to put this video together, it looks amazing. No wonder it went viral.

And the lip-syncing is on point.

I mean they look pretty good doing it. They definitely used the props they could to enhance the video and with some good cuts too. You can see everyone participating in this hilarious tribute.

Who did it better?

These guys did a perfect recreation of the original. You honestly can’t tell the difference if they were side by side. You can watch the video the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders did here.

They even had a hot tub.

They were able to perfectly match the scene from the original down to every scene. Who knew they had hot tubs in Afghanistan. I mean they definitely deserve it with all the daily stress that comes with the job.

Good thing there’s sand where they are.

Not everywhere has sand, but luckily they were able to set the scene since they have it on base as well. Its pretty funny to watch. They really did a great job.

They had to make sure to put their own twist on it.

Even though the video is very close to the original, they made sure to add their own flare to it. The soldiers added some epic scenes with some of their gear. Honestly they’re not bad to look at either.

They made sure to thank their inspiration.

These soldiers honestly remind me of a famous boy band. These guys are great at recreating that energy. At the end of the video, they made sure to thank the ladies that made the video come to life.

Despite the circumstances, they still have fun.

Being a deployed soldier is no easy task. It’s definitely hard to be that far away from home for so long. It’s inspiring to see them have fun and make such a entertaining video. This type of fun is definitely good for lifting the spirits and getting their mind off of things given they are missing so much at home.
