Jordan has been on the news lately because of a good deed he’s done!

He’s been getting interviewed and his life has suddenly changed quite a lot from something he thought was small!

Jordan has been working at a grocery store, bagging groceries for some income! He wants to save up to eventually buy a car!

But while he was working, one customer couldn’t pay for their groceries.

The customer came up short, and was told to put groceries back.

The customer was an elderly man, and Jordan felt like the situation just wasn’t right! So he sprang into action rather than standing by.

“I saw that he didn’t have the money for all the groceries that he wanted, I wanted to help the guy.”

“The cashier told him he would have to put some of the things back, so I just thought in my head I would give him this $35 so he could have all the food that he wants.”

Jordan was seriously raised right! Even crazier, he had only been working at the grocery store for a couple weeks! So it’s not even like this customer was someone who Jordan had had the time to create a rapport with! This was someone Jordan was probably seeing for the first time!

In an interview with a local news station, Jordan explained his thinking.

“Just treat people the way you want to be treated (and) always help out if someone needs it.”

Seems simple right? Well, to Jordan it is, but that’s what makes him so special!

The thing is, this wouldn’t occur to everyone! Not everyone would take the time or money out of their own pocket to help someone out, let alone a stranger!

But Jordan’s selfless actions have lead to big results for him!

There has been a GoFundMe started for Jordan, already reaching $2,500 of the $3,000 goal!

That’s a seriously big return for $35!

Jordan’s mom, Stephanie Burton, was also interviewed, and reading it, we get a bit of a better idea why Teo turned out so good!

“I am proud of Teo, I’m overwhelmed with joy. You try to instill in your kids right and wrong but you don’t know if they comprehend, so yes I’m very proud.”

“He gave him an extra couple of meals that he probably didn’t have.”

“We just need to be human again,” she added.

I couldn’t agree more, Ms. Burton, and you’ve done a stupendous job raising such a fine, selfless young man who is here to help!

I think just about everyone could act a little more like Teo and help out those around them who need it. All it takes is being aware and conscious!

Hopefully with the news of Teo’s good deeds being the talk of the town, he’ll be able to afford that car sooner rather than later!
